Antique inkwell in cut crystal, with lid, circa mid- to late XIX century.
Stands approx. 2 ¼" tall with the lid on, hexagonal bottle 3" wide, round lid 2 ¼" wide. The lid is cut in the shape of a flower. The bottle features 2 alternating designs on the side planes and a central multi-ray starburst cut in the bottom.
In excellent condition. Apart from a few minor chips to the lid, there is no damage of any kind.
Overall, a very nice period piece which is just begging for an antique quill pen leaning against it!
Please note that the paper clips in our photo are for size reference.
