Mongolia, Honorary Medal of Combat, Type 2, #11775, circa 1975 issue.

Silver, enamels; medallion measures 41.2 mm in height (incl. eyelet), 36.2 mm in width; weighs 25.9 g; total weight incl. suspension is 35.5 g. Features hand-engraved serial number. The suspension device is in silver, of riveted multi-piece construction.

In excellent condition. There are only some miniscule dings to the edge, no other wear visible to the naked eye. The raised details of the horseman are extremely well-preserved and beautifully crisp. The enamel is essentially perfect, free of flaking and has just a few microscopic contact marks unnoticeable without magnifi

This medal is from the last series of Honorary Medals of Combat manufactured by the Soviet Mint. According to the Khuujii Urnukh's reference guide, 7000 of this type were produced in total.
