Guard's Badge, Pobeda Factory manufacture, circa 1960s.

Brass, enamels; 46.1 x 35.4 mm. Variation with an early version of Pobeda maker mark, Cyrillic "P" in a hexagon. Features characteristically flat shape and very nice quality red enamel.

In excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect and shows magnificent luster; there are only a few microscopic contact marks invisible to the naked eye, no chips, flaking, or rubbing. The original gilt finish on the reverse is intact and bright with just a tiny amount of verdigris. The screw post is full length, approx. 12 mm, and includes original early screw plate maker marked
