Choibalsan Sharpshooter Badge, 1940s-60s issue.

Brass, enamels; measures 37.0 mm in height, 36.0 mm in width. In excellent condition, very uncommon for this badge. The enamel is perfect, completely free of even tiny contact marks or flakes, and shows beautiful luster. The original fire gilt finish is nicely preserved and bright on both sides, and the details of the soldier are pristine and exceptionally crisp. The screw post is of full length, over 15 mm - has not been shortened as is often the case.
