Excellent Signalman badge, mid to late 1950s.

Brass, enamels. Measures 45.6 mm x 36.4 mm; weighs 14.1 g without the screw plate. This is the last version of the badge, "Classic Flat" according to the Airapetyan's classification.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamels are essentially perfect, free of wear visible to the naked eye; a couple of contact marks to the center and a single microscopic surface flake to the white band can barely be found even under 10x magnification. The gilt finish on the wreath and the reverse of the badge is well preserved and bright; the fragile grey finish on the edge of the shield
