Brass, enamels; 44.0 mm in height x 42.7 mm in width. Four-piece construction: the globe with merchant ship, oval portion with blue and white enamel, and plaque with numeral "5" are separate superimposed parts. Very nice quality, especially for a relatively late issue, typical of Soviet badges made in the Baltic region.
In excellent condition. The enamels are perfect although they show some tiny manufacturing imperfections. The finish is nicely preserved. The screw post is full length, well over 10 mm long. The screw plate is probably a replacement although it fits the badg
