Measures about 56" long, 1 ¼" wide - standard regulation size. This relatively uncommon cap tally reads Voenno-Morskoy Flot ("Navy") instead of the usual identification of the fleet, flotilla or naval school. Cap tallies of this type were usually worn by sailors on honor guard detail, staff of the naval headquarters or other special duties which meant that they reported directly to the central command of the Soviet Navy.

Excellent unissued condition, shows just some storage age and dust that will clean up nicely.
