Hungary, Medal for Protecting Public Safety, 2nd class (Silver Grade), circa 1970s-80s.

In heavy metal (what appears to be "German Silver" or brass with silver finish) and red lacquer ("cold enamel"). Medallion measures 36.0 mm in width.

In excellent condition. The lacquer is perfect. The silver finish is pristine and shows very attractive patina. The ribbon is of the period, perfectly preserved and clean.
