In very fine to excellent condition. The enamel is perfect with the exception of a tiny, barely noticeable flake to the upper edge of the red banner near its upper right corner; there is also a small gouge to the raised silver border of the banner in the same area which resulted from the same impact. The enamel is otherwise perfect and shows beautiful luster throughout. The details and gilt are very nicely preserved as well. Very attractive toning to silver on the reverse. Includes original two-layer suspension device in aluminum with attractive old ribbon. The connecting link appears to be original and its ends are still joined with solder.
