Document for Khalkhin Gol Medal (Badge), issued to a Soviet serviceman.
The name of the recipient, A. N. Storchak, is inscribed in Cyrillic at the top of the first inside page.
The document is in good condition. The hard cover shows only minimal wear, the binding is firm and sound. The gold inscription on the cover has washed out - as is usually the case - but the imprint of it is clearly visible under bright light. The inside pages are overall clean with only normal age toning and minimal soiling, no significant stains. There is a worn area along the spine but no tears or other serious damage.
Relatively few of these documents

Relatively few of these documents had survived WW2 and were
not discarded in the post-war years; these days they are
considerably more difficult to find than the Khalkhin Gol
badges themselves. Since the badges are unnumbered, the
certificate can go with any Type 1 badge.
