In fine to very fine overall condition. The cobalt blue enamel is expertly repaired on the top and left arms of the cross; the rear was done so well that is not easy to spot even under UV light. The white enamel is almost completely intact having only some tiny flakes and contact marks that are practically unnoticeab

The details of the eagle and wreath are extremely crisp, essentially pristine. Original fire gilt finish is very nicely preserved in their recessed areas as well as on the reverse of the badge. The screw post is of full size (for a miniature), about 9.5 mm. Includes a wing nut which is of the period and fits perfectly, although it may or may not be original to this particular badge.
