In very fine to excellent condition. There is minor amount of scuffing to the hilt of the sword. Otherwise, there is only tiny amount of wear to the gilt on some of the high points, almost unnoticeable without magnification. The screw post is original and of full length, nearly 8 mm. The unmarked screw plate is probably original to the badge.

heavy metal and "cold" enamel, which in all likelihood was
awarded exclusively to the VIPs and faculty. The aluminum
version was probably issued to the rest of the school's
current graduation class or recent alumni.
