The red enamel in the propeller has been replaced. Details of the globe, airplane and hammer & sickle emblem are perfect. Some of the original silver plating is visible in recessed areas. The screw post measures over 7 mm in length (it might have been reduced by a few mm as was customary; its current length is more than sufficient for proper functioning). The OAVUK society existed for only about a year, during 1923 - 1924. Unlike the ODVF chapters in various regions of RSFSR and other Soviet republics, this Ukrainian organization operated under its own name and apparently enjoyed a certain degree of autonomy until the 1924 merger into the all-union ODVF.
