Internal pages have stamp of the unit (only the code name is provided, Unit #44139) and facsimile signatures of its commander, political commander and chief of staff. The March 1945 offensive by three SS Panzer Corps near Lake Balaton in Hungary was the last large scale German offensive of the war.
