Backpack consists of two parts, one part contains two metal water containers, includes desalination kit. Water containers may be substituted with snowshoes, which fit in same compartments. The other part is a sectionalized "tray" of survival equipment. Appears to be mostly complete but some of the small metal boxes are empty, no ammunition. Survival radio and battery are replaced with a plastic box. Includes a 60 page survival manual along with its own special carrying pouch; both were heat sealed

The other part is a sectionalized "tray" of survival equipment. Appears to be mostly complete but some of the small metal boxes are empty, no ammunition. Survival radio and battery are replaced with a plastic box. Includes a 60 page survival manual along with its own special carrying pouch; both were heat sealed into a watertight clear plastic bag fastened to the inside of the bag. The clear plastic bag has been slit to allow access to the manual (which is in mint condition) but it could be resealed if desired by using almost any home heat sealing unit.
