60th Anniversary of VLKSM, 1978.
Aluminum, paint, lacquer. Cyrillic maker mark "SAZ" of Smolensk Aviation Factory which had a production line for pins and other memorabilia. Unusual design, showing the VLKSM membership badge with ribbons for the decorations awarded to the Komsomol organization by 1978.

Official issue pin, as opposed to more numerous souvenir pins that were available for purchase (the latter always had a price stamped on the reverse).
