Measures 3 ½" x 5", inserted into a green plastic cover for military ID's. The cover is partially fused to the cover of the ID, and we do not recommend trying to remove the document from the cover. The first and last internal pages show mild to moderate soiling; the "inside" pages are mostly clean. All the printed, stamped and handwritten entries are clear and perfectly legible. The ID photo is in excellent condition under the plastic cover. The binding staples are rust-free, tight and strong.

The entries show that Valeriy Rudenko, an ethnic Russian, was born in the city of Frunze, Kirghiz SSR. He was conscripted into the Soviet Army upon reaching 18 years of age and, after the boot camp served as a truck driver in military unit 47263. This number was assigned to the 211th Tank Regiment, 79th Guards Tank Division, Soviet Army Group in Germany. He did his two-year stint there and was discharged in 1988 and directed to return to his former place of residence in Frunze where he was mandated to register immediately as a reservist. His former 211th Tank Regiment remained stationed in the city of Jena in East Germany, until its removal following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
