Brass, enamels; 42.9 x 32.9 mm. The early model, far better in quality than the later issues in aluminum and paint.

Excellent condition. The enamel has some embedded dust, otherwise perfect and shows a nice luster. The gilt finish on the obverse is well-preserved, while the reverse has a very attractive even patina (it is interesting to see that the brass is still very bright around the screw post where it was covered by a makeshift cardboard "washer" added by the previous owner). The screw post is full length, approx. 9 mm, and includes the original maker-marked screw plate.
