Special-Issue Government Postcard Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Liberation of Sevastopol from Nazi Occupation, 1974.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused, published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The obverse features a special-issue pre-printed government postal stamp commemorating the anniversary. In May 1944, troops of the 4th Ukrainian Front and the Separate Coastal Army under General Tolbukhin's command destroyed the German 17th Army and liberated Sevastopol and the entire Crimea Peninsula.
