In excellent condition, absolutely outstanding for a wartime issue. The enamel is completely flawless, free of any wear or even the tiniest contact marks that could be found under a 10x loupe. The original gilt on the letters "CCCP" is clearly visible. The figures of the workers have only a couple of microscopic contact marks that are completely unnoticeable to the naked eye; their raised details are perfect and exceptionally crisp. The reverse shows a very attractive toning; note that the silver gets progressively darker closer to the edges where it was not covered by the screw plate. The rivets are intact and tight. The screw post is full length, well over 10 mm long measured from its base. An original WW2-era silver screw plate is included.

Overall, this is an exceptionally attractive piece from the mid-Patriotic War period - very uncommon in such a superb condition and one of the best - if not the best - we have handled in recent years.
