The certificate is a hard 10.5 x 7.5 cm booklet wrapped in red cloth, similar to an order booklet. It was filled-out on 29 January 1976 and shows no other awards. Note an uncommonly late date of issue of the document, 24 years after the award decree. There is an ink stamp "valid without a photograph" in the space provided for the photo.

In excellent, near mint condition. The cloth binding is tight and nearly pristine, free of significant soiling or wear. The internal pages are crisp and immaculately clean.
