The size is continental 6" x 4", postally unused, with pre-printed postal stamp. Published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The obverse features the image of the Cosmonaut of the USSR badge, established by the decree of the Presisium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in May 1961, and a photo of the Monument to the Conquerors of Space erected in 1964 near the entrance to the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy fairgrounds in Moscow. The names of the photographer and the artist, P. Smolyakov and I. Dergilev, are printed in the upper left-hand
