In bronze with dark finish, measures 2.5" x 2". According to tradition, the saint was expelled from the First Ecumenical Council when he struck Arius the heretic. That night two bishops attending the council had the same dream that Christ and the Theotokos both appeared to vouch for Nicholas and uphold his action in defending the faith. St. Nicholas was reinstated to the council and held in great esteem afterwards, both in his lifetime and forever.

In excellent condition. The details are well preserved, not even the dark finish shows any noticeable wear. The ding to the right edge appears to have occurred during casting of the icon and is practically invisible from the normal viewing angle.
