The size is continental 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked, published by IZOGIZ, State Visual Arts Publishing House, circulation 300,000 copies. The artist's name, V. Beskaravainy, is printed in the lower left-hand corner on the verso. His hand signature is seen in the lower right-hand corner of the image. The artwork is an offset print of Beskaravainy's painting depicting a Bolshevik agitator reading the newspaper Pravda ("Truth") to Russian Imperial Army soldiers during WW1, sowing the seeds of defeat and civil war.
