In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect, completely free of even the microscopic contact mark that could be found with a 10x loupe, and shows a beautiful luster. The gilt finish is extremely bright on both sides and free of tarnish. Comes on original brass suspension of the early style with a perfectly preserved, clean old ribbon.

The order was established in 1948 but went into production only two years later. The 1950s issues were serial-numbered and issued very
sparingly. Even the later, unnumbered versions of this award are quite scarce, especially in first class.
