Postcard, Lenin in his Kremlin study with an American economist Christensen, 1969.
The size is continental 6" x 4", unmailable without a cover, published by the Planeta Publishing House, Moscow, circulation unknown. The image is a print of an actual photo taken during Lenin's meeting with P. Christensen, an American economist, on 28 November 1921. That year, Lenin introduced NEP, New Economic Policy, a temporary measure aimed to revitalize the Soviet economy after the Russian Civil War. It lasted until 1928 when it was replaced by Stalin's first Five-Year Plan.
