Medal (Badge) of a Veteran of the Latvian Chapter of the DOSAAF (Volunteer Society to Support Army, Aviation and Navy), Latvian SSR, circa 1970s.

Brass, enamels. The pendant measures 32.2 mm in height incl. eyelet x 20.0 mm in width; overall height with suspension is approx. 42 mm. The pendant is of two-piece construction: the DOSAAF emblem is a separate superimposed part. The inscription "Veteran" is in Russian. The suspension represents the national flag of Latvian SSR. An extremely well-made award in excellent condition.
