There are just a few minuscule, barely noticeable dings to the raised edge on the obverse and some tiny contact marks on the reverse, no other wear to the medallion. The raised details of the lettering are perfect and crisp.

Comes on an original suspension device, a WW2 two-layer model in steel with a self-locking pin. The well-preserved old ribbon is probably original to the medal. The silver connecting link appears to be original as well, and its ends are still joined with solder in a seamless manner characteristic of the mint production. A superb piece through and through!
