Excellent condition. The details and finishes are perfect; there are only a few microscopic contact marks, no dings or scratches visible to the naked eye. The silver finish on the anchor and chain is nicely preserved, showing only a minor amount of wear to the highest points that adds character. The rivets are tight. The screw post was slightly reduced by a couple of mm for convenience as was customary, but its current length of over 10 mm is fully sufficient for proper functionality. Original screw plate is included (same kind as used on Soviet screw-back orders of the period.) Unlike the majority of similar unissued badges found on the market these days, this piece definitely has been issued and worn by its recipient. It shows a great deal of character without any significant flaws.
