The information is validated by the seal of the Central Committee and Stalin's facsimile signature.

In very good to excellent condition, showing mild wear to the leather of the cover and age-toning to the paper inside. The ID photo, all printed text, seals and signatures are pristine.

Photo ID of a Member of the Rostov Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks), 1945. In booklet format measuring 3 1/21" x 2 ½", in hard covers wrapped in fine-quality leather. The front cover features embossed lettering in gold paint, reading, in abbreviated format, "The Rostov Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks)." Inside, the ID states that Konstantin Kartashev is indeed a member of the Rostov Regional Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks), elected by the 4th Rostov Regional Party Conference.

For the sake of geographical clarity, this ID refers to Rostov-on-Don, a large regional center in the south-west of Russia near the Azov Sea, not the small ancient Rostov in central Russia, north-east of Moscow.

In excellent condition, showing minimal wear to the leather of the cover, mostly to the head and foot of the spine. Inside, all the textual material, signatures, and the seal of the Rostov Regional Committee are crisp, clear, and perfectly legible. The ID photo is in sharp focus. Tilting it to reflect a bright light reveals a few minuscule scuffs, almost invisible at a normal viewing angle.

Photo ID Pass to a special healthcare facility for Top Party and Government Officials, 14 February 1952. In booklet format measuring approx. 3" x 2 ¼", in oilcloth-wrapped beveled hard covers. The ID was issued by the Kremlin Healthcare Directorate, stating that Konstantin Kartashev, as Head of the Chief Directorate of Mining Industry at the Council of Ministers of the USSR, is entitled to use of the Kremlin healthcare facilities. Popularly known as "the Kremlin hospital," it was a whole network of top-rate hospitals, clinics, and specialized healthcare facilities administered by what later became known as the Fourth Chief Directorate at the Ministry of Health of the USSR. Access to this network was granted exclusively to the exalted top of the All-Union and republican-level Party and Government elite of this country of workers and peasants.

In very good condition. The wear to the cover is mild, mostly to the corners. The spine is a little loose but the booklet is structurally perfectly sound. The internal pages show no damage or separations; all the printed and handwritten text, signatures and the special seal of the Directorate "for passes" are crisp, clear, and perfectly legible. The ID photo has a microscopic green stain at the left edge, away from the image and hardly noticeable. Otherwise, the photo is pristine.

Konstantin Kartashev was a high-ranking Soviet industry leader who rose from an engineer at a Donbass coal minе to the post of Deputy Head of the Technical Department of the Chief State Inspection of the Coal Mining Ministry of the USSR.
