In booklet format measuring approx. 3 ½" x 2", paperback cover bound in brown textured paper on the front only. The front cover shows the USSR State Emblem and the lettering under it, reading "Identification Document, Soviet Military Administration in Germany." The ID was issued to Lydia Plakst who worked as a typist in the Military Commandant's Office of the Chemnitz Military District. The ID was valid until 31 December 1948.
In very good to excellent condition. The only wear visible to the naked eye are two spots of blurred ink. However, the affected words remain perfectly legib
