In very good condition. The leather of the covers shows mild scuffing, not too obvious. The paint of the embossed state emblem and lettering has completely worn off but the relief of the embossment makes them perfectly clear and legible. The stain inside, looking like it was the result of a coffee spill, is contained to the edges and does not affect the legibility of any printed or handwritten material. The ID photo is in sharp focus, a little un-glued on top. Tilting it to reflect a bright light reveals minor scuffs but those are practically invisible when looking at it at a normal viewing angle.
