Stalin's Speech as the People's Commissar of Defense at the meeting of the Moscow Soviet of Workers' Deputies on occasion of the 27th anniversary of the October Revolution, 6 November 1944.
Newspaper sized sheet measuring 16" x 23 ½", front and verso. There is no mention anywhere that this was an insert in a regular newspaper, so probably it was published as a separate newsprint item.
In very good to excellent condition. The paper is mildly and evenly age-toned, almost wrinkle-free. The fold lines are still visible but are almost completely flattened out, and showing mild discoloration along them. The verso shows minor foxing along the vertical fold line and the top edge. None of the wear is very intrusive to the eye or detractive.

The meeting was a gala event, with not only the deputies of the Moscow Soviet present, but also representatives of the party and social organizations of Moscow. Needless to say, the focus of the speech was not so much the October Revolution but the successes of the Red Army in the ongoing war, and Stalin's diplomacy with the allies at the Tehran Conference.
