In very good condition. The covers show mild to moderate wear, mostly to the fold line, edges, and corners. The fold line shows partial separations, easily repairable if desired. The binding staples are tight and strong. The internal pages are intact, mostly clean, just very slightly soiled at the bottom corner, probably by the fingers of the readers. The illustrations are not faded, the text is crisp and perfectly legible.
The issue is not very subtle about how much better every aspect of Latvians' life is now: from new construction in Riga to increasing yields in agricultural crops and farm animals in collective farms, to the fishing collective farms who, apparently, manage to catch bigger fish now that they fish collectively. The last page offers advertisements of household goods instead of political caricatures.
