It is remarkable that even though the title page states that this is just a translation of the second edition of Stalin's brief biography, the Russian original of which was published in 1947 in a book of the same format, the Bulgarian translation is twenty-seven pages shorter! Either Bulgarian words are generally shorter than Russian ones, or this is an example of "something was lost in translation." But, knowing how often communists revised and re-wrote their history, it matters little. Just a curious observation.

In very good to excellent condition. The dust jacket shows some wear but the book inside is in excellent condition, showing only minimal wear to the corners of the hard cover. The internal pages are pristine.
