Memorial Plaque with a Bas-Relief Portrait of Young Stalin, in original fitted presentation case, circa 1950s.
In gypsum with paint coating, 62 mm in diameter. The bas-relief was done off one of photos of young Stalin. A small metal loop on the back allows to hang the plaque on a wall. The inscription on the lid of the case, in Georgian and Russian, reads "I.V. Stalin in 1905." The case is made of sturdy cardboard laminated with leatherette. The fitted space inside is padded and lined with burgundy colored silk. The lid inside is also lined with silk.
