The document authorizes transportation to the Cheka of the Kherson Region a number of personal effects seized from three individuals accused of serving with the "Whites", or turning over Party operatives to the Whites. The items in the list range from an overcoat, to a flute, to a bar of soap, to a straw hat. No doubt that something in this flea market spread will prove the guilt of the accused beyond a reasonable doubt.

In excellent condition. The document shows evidence of being carefully torn out of a file taking the left-most edge of the letterhead stamp with it, but enough of the stamp is present to read and understand its full meaning. The verso is mostly clean, showing just the typewriter dye soaked through the thin paper. The paper is medium-quality and remains quite pliant.

This document is not only a rare and unusual period artifact which will upgrade any collection of Cheka-OGPU-NKVD-MGB-KGB artifacts. It makes you ask yourself: why is it that the less a tyrannical regime is rooted in real law, the more elaborate is its pretense of abiding by the law? A great conversational point!
