In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is literally pristine: it shows a magnificent luster and is completely free of any traces of wear that could be found even with a 10x loupe. The raised details of the torch, flagpole and wreath are perfect and extremely crisp. There is an attractive dark patina to silver, but the original gold plating on the obverse is still present and clearly visible throughout.
Comes on an early post-war suspension device, a two-layer model in steel with integral catch of the pin. The ribbon is new.
