Weapon Carrying Permit of Red Army Railroad Defense Serviceman Pyotr Avdeyev, issued 7 March 1919.

Single page 7" x 4 ½", front only. Handwritten, bears the letterhead stamp of the commander of the 3rd Company 1st Battalion, 1st Ukrainian Railroad Defense Regiment, and its seal. Issued on 7 March 1919, hand-signed by the company commander.

In very good condition. Partial separations of the fold lines have been repaired and reinforced with library tape on the verso. Two pieces of paper on the left side are missing, probably torn out when the permit was removed from a file. The seal was not affected by the lower tear. The ink is not faded, the lines are crisp, and the handwriting is very neat and legible.
