The photo presents a decorated senior lieutenant, Motor Transport Branch, in M43 gimnastyorka tunic, wearing an Order of the Red Star, Medal for Combat Service, Medal for Victory over Germany, and a M1934 Parachute Instructor Jump badge. The object on his left ear is not a defect but, perhaps, a bandage. The archival entry on the verso identifies him as senior technician Mikhail Plamyadyalo. The entry is sealed with the seal of Military Warehouse 862.

In excellent condition. Minimal storage wear becomes visible only when tilting the photo to reflect a bright light, but invisible when looking at it at a normal viewing angle. The image is in sharp focus, providing an excellent opportunity to have a good close look at the uniform, decorations, and insignia.
