Very fine to excellent condition. The enamel has a couple of tiny hairlines that are nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye, otherwise intact and sound. Minimal amount of tarnish to the brass, no blemishes; the finish is overall bright and attractive. Unlike many other similar medals we've encountered, this appears to be a piece that has been issued and worn, not an unissued example.
