Porcelain Coffee Set of 3, Christmas-themed, by ЛФЗ (LFZ, Lomonosov Porcelain Factory), 1972-86.
The cup is 2 ½" tall, 3" wide at the lip, 2" wide at the foot. The saucer is 4 ¾" wide. The larger pastry saucer is 6" across. The set is sparsely and tastefully decorated with hand-painted images of spruce tree branches and squirrels. Each item is maker marked on the bottom.
In excellent, outstanding condition. No wear or damage visible to the naked eye.
The maker mark is fig. # 493 in Volume One of Marks on Soviet Porcelain, Faience, and Majolica, 1917-1991 by Nasonova et al. "Made in USSR" next to the mark signifies that this set was designated for export.
