In outstanding, excellent condition. The medal is practically free of wear visible to the naked eye and has only a few microscopic contact marks that are unnoticeable without magnification. The raised details are perfect and extremely crisp on both sides. The original "gilt" mint luster is exceptionally well preserved throughout, showing only mild patina and a couple of tiny oxidation spots, free of significant blemi

Comes on an original suspension device of late-1940s vintage, a single-layer model in brass. The old, possibly original ribbon is very
attractive albeit somewhat faded, free of tears, significant soiling or excessive wear. Overall, this is a truly superb example of the
Belgrade Medal, nearly impossible to upgrade.
