Book Russian Naval Art, a collection of articles on the history of Russian Navy, 1951.
Large format, 7" x 10 ½", paper-laminated hard cover, 460 pp., published by the Naval Publishing House at the Ministry of the Navy of the USSR, Moscow.
The book contains a collection of works by Soviet naval officers and historians covering the Russian naval history from VII century to the first days of the Soviet Power and the first battles of the Red Baltic Fleet in the Riga Bay. As a curious aside, some of the articles assert Russia's precedence in such inventions as radio and airplane. Anything to raise the level of patriotism and national pride!
In very good condition.

In very good condition. The laminate of the hard cover shows some staining and scuffing, but it all blends in rather well and is not too intrusive to the eye. The edges and corners are a little frayed, but the spine is unexpectedly near-pristine. The binding is reasonably tight and strong, and we did not encounter any significant wear or damage to the internal pages.
A very nice-to-have book for a naval history buff!
