Soviet office-style table lamp Stalinskaya, with green shade, 1955.
In steel with double-layer two-tone glass shade: milk-white on the inside, green on the outside. Stands approx. 17" tall to the tip of the shade. The foot is 7" across. Typically massive for that period, weighing it at over 5 lbs. Electric specs: 110-220V, 40-60W. Comes with a 65" power cord with a built-in switch and European plug. The lamp has its original black round on/off switch in the base.
The lamp is structurally sound and is in perfect working condition as tested. The paint on the stem and base appears to be original and is lightly worn off, mostly near the On/Off switch.

The glass shade is very clean and free of scuffs or scratches. There is one chip to the glass at the rim, however, it is obscured by the metal rim and is not easily noticeable, if at all.
"Stalinskaya" is not the official brand name of this lamp, but a monicker born "organically" due to its resemblance to the table lamps on almost every desk of a party or government bureaucrat throughout Stalin's era and, frankly, well into Khrushchev's time.
Note: the shade is seated on the steel rim freely, without any screws to keep it in place, and without any provision in the rim for fastening it. Please keep this in mind when moving the lamp around.
