The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally marked and used. Published by the USSR Ministry of Communications, circulation unknown. The artwork is a picture of the center of Moscow during a political holiday. The artist took a lot of artistic license in positioning Moscow's landmarks in his painting, but, as they say, it's the celebratory mood that counts. The name of the artist, V. Bibikov (В. Бибиков), is printed in the upper left-hand corner on the verso. The verso features a pre-printed space-themed postal mark showing the post-1961 currency reform price of 3 kopeks, and two postal cancellation stamps.

In very good condition. The obverse shows a bit of storage wear, traces of two postal stamps transferred from another postcard, but the smears are rather faint and ephemeral and not too intrusive to the eye. The paper is a little frayed, the corners show old creases, long-since-flattened out and barely noticeable, and minuscule corner bumps. The verso is quite clean and free of any significant wear.
