Excellent condition. The enamel on the suspension is perfect, free of scuffs or flaking. The details of the bas-relief are perfect and crisp. The attractive patina partly obscures the gilt finish on the medallion's background and numeral "50", but the gold plating is nevertheless fully present throughout and clearly visible.

This medal was issued exclusively to the attendees of the anniversary ceremony in the Kremlin. Among them were members of the Supreme Soviet, top echelon of the Party leadership and prominent Communist leaders from around the world.
