The liner is in cotton, while the breast pockets are lined in finer satin fabric.

Large size: about a 46 " chest, 24" sleeves (shoulder seam to cuff), and 28" length from the top of the collar to bottom hem ".

In excellent condition, outstanding for a Soviet military uniform of WW2 era. Both the wool gabardine outer material and red piping are completely free of the usual moth damage, soiling or significant wear of any kind. The liner has a couple of spots where a minor repair was done, none of them very noticeable. There are inventory ink stamps to the liner of both sleeves, possibly movie prop markings. Ink pen inscriptions to the lining of the left breast pocket, some of which, the ДВН (Cyrillic "DVN") may be the initials of the original owner.

A well-tailored, possibly wartime piece in outstanding condition.
