In excellent condition. The enamel shows a beautiful luster and is essentially perfect, having only a couple of microscopic contact marks completely invisible to the naked eye. There are no edge knocks or nicks; the details of the raised lettering are perfect and crisp. The reverse has some light scratches mostly in the upper portion, not very glaring and affecting neither the lettering nor the serial number. Attractive toning to silver throughout.

Comes on original WW2 suspension device, a two-layer model in steel with self-locking pin. The relatively recent ribbon shows a bit of wear at the bottom but is otherwise perfect. The connecting link appears to be of the period. Overall, an impressive example of a relatively early, wartime issue of the Type 2 Valiant Labor Medal.
