1. Greetings from the staff of the KGB Special Department at the Kronstadt Naval Base on occasion of the 50th anniversary of VChK - KGB.

Single page folded into a small folder. The cover features the VChK-KGB emblem, and a quote from its founder, Felix Dzerzhinsky, his much-advertised motto "Only a man with a cold head, hot heart and clean hands can become a ChKist." Inside is the printed boilerplate text of congratulations and best wishes on occasion of the 50th jubilee of VChK - KGB, addressed to any officer of the KGB at the Krondstadt Naval Base.

In very good condition. The paper is slightly wrinkled but the printed and handwritten text are both crisp and clear.

2. Letter of invitation to the jubilee meeting and gala concert on occasion of the 50th anniversary of VChK - KGB. Includes the invitation pass, special postcard and special envelope, all issued for this occasion.

The invitation pass informs that the meeting will be held in the country's 2nd most famous and prestigious opera and ballet theater after the Bolshoi, known before the revolution and now as the Mariinsky Theater.
The postcard features an uncommon design and quotes Lenin's letter to Dzerzhinsky of 7 December 1917 which gave green light to the creation of VChK.
The envelope matches the design of the postcard, is not mailable, and features a special stamp on the back with which it was originally sealed. The front of the envelope features Shemyakin's full name, typewritten.

All three items are in excellent condition, no significant wear or damage visible to the naked eye.

3. Foldout postcard with the Order of Patriotic War on the obverse, sent by the Collegium of KGB at the Council of Ministers of the USSR on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Victory in WW2.

Shemyakin's name is typewritten on the name line. The text of the postcard contains congratulations with the 30th anniversary of the Victory and wishes of great health, happiness, and great achievements in protecting the safety and security of the Soviet State.

The card bears a facsimile signature of Yuri Andropov, then Chairman of KGB, future short-lived General Secretary of the USSR.

The postcard is in very good to excellent condition. Mild wear to the laminate on the obverse is visible but not too detractive, and is contained to the periphery, not affecting the artwork.
